Ashley Deng is a Cantonese-American visual artist from NYC exploring the sweet & bitter in life through her work. She hopes to create moments of reflection & light by sharing pieces of herself in whatever medium captures her curiosity in the moment.

nakedpomelo (柚心) comes from her childhood memories of peeling pomelos and removing the white fibers from each slice with my family – a small ritual rooted in thoughtfulness & care.​
